Cold Creek Crossing was developed with the vision of
creating a neighborhood that would open Sandusky to
new housing for the first time in 10 years. The piece
of ground chosen for the development was selected because
of its location within the city of Sandusky and for
its tree-lined border and gently rolling hills. Schrickel
Home Builders was selected to be one of the development's
two choice builders.
Cold Creek Crossing will contain 95 single-family homes
and 102 condominiums with amenities including 5' sidewalks,
underground utilities, street lamps, and tree lined
streets. There are over 8 acres of woods, a common area,
trails, a natural creek and park.
Within the subdivision, Schrickel Home Builders has
purchased the lots found on Walnut Ridge Lane. Walnut
Ridge Lane was picked because of its seclusion from
the rest of the subdivision. Surrounded by trees on
all sides of the street, the lots are able to provide
privacy to a homeowner. Several of the lots also allow
the homeowners to have walk-out basements and on the
east side of the street, a view of a wildflower field
and nature preserve can be seen from a backyard window.
